(i'm terribly sorry to be commenting on all of these pieces you have, but they interest me too much not to say anything )
it's so true. it's why i have problems with big corporations opposed to small owned business's. it's why i can deal with two people in my study hall opposed to twenty. it's why i can deal with my community's ignorance, but not my country's. argh.
the proposition presumes-
ALL the members of the group are independent thinkers, having their own ideas and views about any situation or event. The they disagree and ruin the situation.
This premise may not be valid. There is always a mix of leaders and followers by simple law of averages and co-ordinated response can occur.
I tend to disagree, yes the ratio of people involved in a situation can affect the increase of how fucked up a situation can get. However one should take into consideration how fucked up just one individual is and then you would have a basis to go off of to compare the rest. All it takes is one individual with the right kind of power and the wrong kind of additude to move and destroy the masses of those who can't or won't think for themselves. Its not just the amount of people but the amount of brainpower involved or lack there of.
(i think that) The theory is correct, a lot of people will support a certain statement without knowing the real reason or details...
It's the "being part of a group" feeling...very dangerous.
Before you know it they will create a non existing Hierarchy.
And impose their non existing laws and restrictions.
They might even be looking for traitors and everything goes wrong.
i cant believe how much i love all ur artpolitik pieces. they are amazingly true, i think thats why so many people like them. they speak to us in words that have been whispered but never said before. we've realised this.. all of these things u say. but we never had the strength to say them ourselves.
well, i never thought of this, but it's somewhat true, that the more people are in a group, the more a suggestion may statistically encounter opposition. and now that i think of it, it really happens. it's easy to make one, 2 or 3 minds agree, but the more they are, the harder it becomes. this could even explain why we all have such problems with our oh so good system of democracy. a very good thought, very good. respect.
and the pic is very nice too, it explains the thought very well
people are inately evil, that's obvious.therefore the more people involved with a project the more likely it will become corrupted, destroyed, misled, etc. but this image you made seems a little too closeminded.there isn't any room for grace in this picture, nor is there any hope.without either what is there?but i guess art thrives off of depicting and being carried out by fucked up people.but more than anything i just found your statement with the picture to be [link] seems so pretentious. i mean do you think that because you dislike people,or a certain group, or set number of people, that you are somehow superior to us? i don't know.the image looks great, but that's about it for me.sorry this is so long.i had a lot of my friends help me type it and now look what happened...it got fucked up,oh well.such is life.right?
its a brilliant piece youve got here. i took a look at artpolitic yesterday and they send some good messages. i agree with this one wholeheartedly. +fav ( even tho this is really behind everybody else i felt i shuold tell you i liked it)
this picture is so true. you capture the truth of life so well. no matter what if you get a group of people together theres gonna be problems.
if you need a friend then look for love...if your looking for love look for a friend
this is fucking awesome.
i just checked out artpolitic by way of a link from heavydistortion. you guys rock. thumbs up on promoting awareness. i salute you.

True! I like the colors and how you arranged your pictures. It was kinda cool to see the cover photo from Anti-Flag's Underground Network CD.

Look me up in your local Amish phone book.
this is fantastic, and unfortunately the concept is very true - want a clearer example than devART itself? this goes to my favs for such a defined message, which is somewhat rare in most art submitted here
--- There are no Gods to create anything anymore. Man is the only God because he can destroy ---
wow, another great strong piece to add to the collection.
I'm real proud of you and your group. Art has always been a way for the mind to express what the mouth is afraid to say, and not saying that you wouldn't have the balls to say what's on your mind but you're doing a good job of forcing the people in this community to look at the world outside of our own safe little protective boxes.
I admire your work.
Keep it up

The more people you add, the bigger the chance is for someone to misunderstand and destroy what the others have built up. Just look at the anti-economicglobalization demonstrations wich have gathered thousands of peaceful activists, then you have the blackbloc/anarchists who have to screw it all with their violence, i mean, look in the newspapers, none chose to focus on the colorful demonstration, they only focus on the small episodes of violence in between.
i dont know why you have put up democracy, socialism, communism and so on. feel free to expand your explaination.
personally i think we have woven ourselves into such a large system, there is such a long road to those who got the power, that we let others rule our lives. the best thing would be to live in small societys with a strong local democracy, i find anarchy too naive.
i like pictures of rioters, got a collection of cutouts from newspapers
powerful and sharp.
i appreciate the freedom that you allow yourself to have through your art. what takes you above so many other artists is the fact that you educate yourself. you bring forth pieces that evoke discussion. you make the masses think. for that reason alone, i am always utterly thrilled to see a new submission from you.
hundreds of social earthquakes rock our world. i would love to believe in a simpler, more homogeneous way for people to create/build rather than destroy even elementary ideas through selfishness and ignorance.. hmm.. but this is where my utopian views begin to fumble and gather dust.
what keeps my hopes alive are people like yourself who promote awareness. I believe that more people are listening than we think.
nice piece mate.........there is always a solution to every problem, all we have to do is find a common ground and work from there
My Icon is not a cause,a new clique or a reveloution....its a plea
